What is the Newsweek
Active Minds Panel?
The Newsweek Active Minds Panel is an online research panel of
Newsweek readers and online users designed to provide Newsweek
editors and advertisers with more information about the Newsweek
audience, and their opinions. Panel members are asked to take
surveys on various topics throughout the year.
Who is invited
to become a member of the Panel?
The Panel is made up of people who subscribe to Newsweek magazine
or buy the magazine at newsstands and regularly read it, as well
as those who access Newsweek online at newsweek.com.
What are the
benefits of joining the Panel?
You will have the opportunity to voice your opinion on a variety
of topics including the types of products/services you use and
your brand preferences, your opinions on the advertising in the
magazine, and your views on editorial.
In addition, as a thank you for your participation in the Newsweek
Active Minds Panel, you will be automatically entered into sweepstakes
throughout the year to win American Express® Gift Cheques

How often will
I be surveyed?
Panel members will be surveyed on a semi-regular basis. The amount
any individual panelist will be surveyed will range from about
once a month to once a quarter.
What types of
Security policies are in place?
The Newsweek Active Minds Panel is conducted by a leading independent
research firm, Beta Research Corp. Your personal information will
be treated in accordance with Newsweek's online privacy policy.
What if I need to change my contact information/email address?
Or, What if I decide I no longer want to participate in the Panel?
A few days after joining the panel, we will send you a Thank You
email which will provide you with your own PIN and a link to the
Panel Member Page. At the Panel Member Page you can change your
contact information or terminate your panel membership if you
decide you no longer want to be a member of the panel.
